Site Structure

Site structure means the organization of the site on the pages, in other words, the way it is organized and the elements it is made up of. The structure of the site is strictly linked with navigation and the one cannot be separated from the other.

The basic structure of a site is hierarchical: the home page leads to pages on second, third and fourth levels and so on.

  • Homepage
    • A ( first level )
      • A1 (second level)
      • A2 (second level)
    • B (first level)
    • C (first level)
      • C1 (second level)
        • C1.1 ( third level)
      • C2 (second level)
        • C2.1 ( third level)
